But now the shelter NEEDS YOU MORE THAN EVER! They are well beyond capacity and actually RAN OUT OF FOOD for the animals this week.

Intern Alaina hung out at Kroger during the Froggy Morning Show collecting donations and Taylor spent the lunch hour doing the same. We totalled over 600 pounds of food and hundreds of dollars in donations.

| The "Great American Voter Trek" makes a stop at the Froggy Studio |

Seven students from Vermont’s leading colleges and universities hit the road to across the country from the Green Mountains in Vermont to the Grand Tetons of Wyoming to register as many voters as possible for the 2008 presidential election.The 47-day, 1,800-mile trek kicked off on Monday, June 16 at 8am with a special VIP Send-Off from Middlebury, Vermont and ends on August 1 with a special closing ceremony in Laramie, Wyoming. They will make stops in six key cities including: Buffalo, New York, Cleveland, Ohio, Chicago, Illinois, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Omaha, Nebraska, and Laramie, Wyoming. In between the six major registration stops, the riders will visit dozens of diners and local eateries along the route in an effort to register as many voters as possible during their cross country trek. Members of the group stopped into the Froggy Morning Show as they stopped for the night at the Maple Leaf Inn in Waterloo!
